Welcome

FC Tucson Youth Soccer Club Scholarship Program

No player should be denied the opportunity to play because of financial need.

FC Tucson Youth Soccer Club (FCTYSC) seeks to provide every interested and committed player an opportunity to participate in our programs, from recreational level to competitive. Financial assistance is allocated to families based on need. You are applying for assistance for our RECREATIONAL PROGRAM. Income is our main criterion. The number of children in a family who are in FCTYSC programs is also a criterion. FCTYS will determine who receives an award each season within our September to May calendar (fall, winter, spring seasons). Families may apply each season. However, receiving multiple awards over three seasons will be based in part on the number of total applicants. We reserve the right to grant awards to first-time applicants over those who have already received a scholarship in previous seasons.

** Note: All applications are evaluated without regard to gender, race, color, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or disability.

**All sections must be filled out completely or your application will not be processed.

CONFIDENTIALITY

All information included on the applications will be held in the strictest confidence. Only FCTYSC Recreational Director James Parsons and his support staff will review the applications.

SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS

Please continue through this online form and submit once complete. Note you will receive an online receipt via email verifying it was submitted.

SCHOLARSHIP AWARD NOTIFICATION

• All complete applications are processed in a timely fashion. Applicants who submit all their materials will be notified by email of their award. (Awards are in the form of a “discount” off your total fee).

• These notifications will include a scholarship award letter. Letters must be acknowledged and accepted via “email reply” directed to our Recreational Director James Parsons. Scholarship awards do not go into effect until that email reply has been received.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF SCHOLARSHIP PLAYERS AND THEIR FAMILIES

• Families are required to notify the scholarship program coordinator if their financial situation changes during the playing season in a way that would have an impact on scholarship award.
